You have been warned. OMG! I cannot believe a store I depended for my computer needs would do something like this to my middle aged sister. I was utterly pissed by the fact. Yet I knew it wasn't their fault but still.

My sister brought a pure gaming computer from ibuypower online that she had to buy through compusa/tiger direct store. When it finally came, my sister wouldn't try it out a couple of days at first, so I tried it out. For some reason, the computer would start running then shut off, the run again, then shut off. I told my sis that the computer was acting funny. A few days after that, my sis played Oblivion on it, but finally she tried to turn it on and it refused to reboot. Then all it did was do the on and off thing with them like they did with me.

My sis tried to return back to compusa, but they said they had to go with ibuypower to get the return confirmation and turned her down. Only to realize that the return policy was 14 days and she was running low on time. She called places to get a confirmation for the return only for them to say by the next day that nothing has been done.

My oldest sister and I were pissed that they game our middle sister the run around. For some reason, we both knew they were trying to make her hold that computer til she can't return it. That is very shotty.

Today, she called wondering why they hadn't sent the stuff still today. So, I told her to give the phone to me to speak to tiger direct. On top of that, my oldest sister was on the phone with compusa. Boy, we were both bitchy (sorry for anyone but it's true) I was furious on the phone. I told them that I wanted a confirmation email sent to me that states that this has been done because I don't trust them. Yet, for some reason, they told me they can't email me any confirmation letters whatsoever. I was like "What the Heck! I have computers under Gateway and Lenovo and both of those companies always sent me a confirmation email when something is being done." Yet, they're telling me they couldn't. I told them I wanted a hard copy stating that what they said is being done because I don't trust what they say. They said they were going to do it three days ago and nothing was done. Finally, the guy sent me an email and sent my sister the ups return confirmation all on that day, so we can return the item and get our money back.
Furthermore, my oldest sister who was with compusa finally called Ibuypower wondering what's going on.

Things didn't had to turn that way, but really... they were up to something to make my middle sis go beyond the return date. So, beware getting computers from Ibuypwoer or tiger direct, and even from compusa exactly. I'm very angered by the fact that they would do something to my sis like that. Be warn, if you brought from them, you're going to have a tough time returning it back in or getting a confirmation statement that they did anything that they were suppose to do.
